Morning departure by train to Shimla, including the toy train from Kalka. Rest of day at leisure to explore the former summer capital of the British Rulers of India. Stay 3 nights at the Oberoi Cecil.(Breakfast).
At 2000 metres, Shimla is the ideal location to enjoy some pleasant day walks. Various routes in the nearby vicinity can be explored including a walk to Summer Hill, Chadwick Falls, Prospect Hill all of which offer magnificent views of the surrounding area. (Breakfast).
Morning departure for Pragpur. Stay 2 nights at The Judge's Court. The property is a country manor property dating back 300 years and located in the medieval hamlet of Pragpur, at an elevation of 2000 ft. in the Kangra Valley. (Breakfast).
The village of Pragpur, with its age-old and well preserved architecture and cobbled streets, has been declared a "Heritage village": this makes it perhaps the only village in India with such a distinction.
