Privacy is the ultimate backwater retreat. Lying on the shores of Lake Vembanad, this heavenly little place comprises of 2 cottages. The first cottage, The Suite, its right on the edge of the lake and has one bedroom and an en suite bathroom and a sitting room. The second cottage is an old re-constructed Keralan house, and made almost entirely from wood. It has 2 bedrooms both with en suite bathrooms and is set a little back from the lakeside. Both have long verandas, a lush green gardens and share the use of a fabulous pool. Fully staffed, it is one of the few places where you really can get away from it all. Stylish in its simplicity, it is comfortable and ultimately peaceful, and a great place to unwind for a few days.
