Amanwella

It's rare to find an Aman Resort which is quite so affordable, but this is the case with Amanwella, one of two Aman resorts located on the island. With 30 suites sharing a 10 acres of beach front, the hotel never feels busy, and the pool, surely the largest in Sri Lanka, is an enormous 45 meter infinity pool, which literally seems to go on forever. With the Aman signature clean lines and minimalist interiors, the hotel breathes style and sophistication, but without the formality and pretention. The absolute opposite in reality, with the staff full of smiles, always on hand to make your stay an unforgettable one. We recommend the Hillside suites over the Ocean Suites because of their uninterrupted view of the sea and they provide a lot more privacy.
