Shakti Launches Ladakh Village Walks
Continuing with their "Village Walks" theme, this summer Shakti have launched their new Ladakh programme. The traditional architecture of Ladakh is grander than in other Himalayan regions and the three village houses Shakti are using are tremendously comfortable, but without compromising on authenticity and charm. Journeys between villages will be on foot, by river raft and vehicles, stopping off at unspoilt Buddhist monasteries en route.

Night Safaris Start in Ranthambore
The forest department in Ranthambore National Park in Rajasthan have launched evening safaris in the buffer zone of the park. Jeep safaris take place between 7:30-9:30 or 9:30-11:00 and spotlights are used for tracking. Pre-booking is not required.
